RECIPES: Broccoli Cheddar Soup & Irish Soda Bread
INGREDIENTS: SOUP: Butter, onion, flour, half-and-half cream, chicken stock or broth, broccoli, shredded carrot, grated sharp cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, nutmeg SODA BREAD: All-purpose flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, baking powder, egg, buttermilk, unsalted butter
WHERE: Live on Zoom with Chef Ali of Cooking Farm to Table
COST: $15 - This admits 1 parent & 1 child.
If a household has more than one Girl Scout (or sibling) attending, a separate ticket will be necessary for each.
FORMAT: 90 Minute Class. Together, live on Zoom, Girl Scouts gather from all over the country to cook Chef Ali and create healthy whole food recipes. Girl Scout & awesome adult follow along and make the same recipe in their own kitchen as we go. Girl Scouts learn safe kitchen habits, knife skills, reading recipes, prepping, cooking, keeping clean, and eating! **A Welcome Packet is sent out in advance with recipes, handouts, and ingredients to shop for and instruction for any advanced prep for class.
TROOP LEADERS: *If you are a troop leader signing up multiple girls in your troop, you as "purchaser" MUST register them with their respective parent's email at registration where it says "attending". If you use one email (yours) for all, they will not receive Eventbrite class confirmation and access to class.
Each Girl Scout must be present with a parent/guardian with their zoom camera on to be admitted unless planned in advance with Alison Caldwell.
