About this event
On Friday, January 13th, we lost Philly (Mark Phillips) to cancer. In the months before, he was grateful that we he could undergo chemotherapy in Stratford instead of having to make the drive to London. His wife Brandi was not able to be in the chemo room with him each time so text messages back and forth would include “Are you in the warm room or the cold room?” “Did you get the one hospital bed or are you in a chair?”. Having a chemotherapy department in SGH is fantastic but it is obvious that rejuvenation of services is required.Prior to his passing, Mark asked that donations be forwarded to the Stratford General Hospital - Chemotherapy Reno Project through the In Our Hands campaign.
