The St. Olaf Band, conducted by Timothy Mahr, will be joined by the James Logan Wind Symphony for their performance at James Logan High School, on Saturday, February 4 at 7:00 pm during its 2023 Winter Tour. Tickets are free for folks of all ages! We encourage you to register for yours in advance to ensure admittance.

Founded in 1891, the St. Olaf Band, dubbed “one of America’s preeminent bands” by the New Yorker, performs the very best compositions and transcriptions for symphonic band, producing an exciting, crowd-pleasing style.

Dr. Timothy Mahr ’78 has conducted the St. Olaf Band since 1994, and is set to retire next spring. We hope you’ll join us on his final domestic tour! The 2023 program is titled "URGENT VOICES" which highlights music that contains important and hopeful messages. Two clarinet soloists will be featured, along with two student conductors, and the repertoire will also include pieces by Aaron Copland, Jonathan Bailey Holland, Jodie Blackshaw, Timothy Mahr, David Maslanka, and more.

Tickets to this performance are non-refundable. Tickets may be returned back as donations and distributed to another interested party. If you have questions or an extenuating circumstance, please contact us by email at Eventbrite@stolaf.edu.
