STLDODN Online Registration Closed:
We are very excited that we are anticipating over 800 attendees to be joining us to celebrate the St. Louis Day of .NET 2011! At this time, online registration has closed. However, it is not too late to join in the fun. We will be accepting walk-up registrations tomorrow morning (Friday, August 5) at our front desk. Please be advised that walk-up registrations cannot be discounted and are cash-only, exact change, $200. Thanks to all who have registered, and we look forward to a great weekend!
What is the Day of .NET?
The St. Louis .NET User Group meets every month and offers free sessions -- mostly targeted towards software developers that use the Mcreicrosoft .NET Framework in some way. Imagine taking 2 years of user group meetings and putting them together into one big event. Throw in a keynote address by a Microsoft Director of Product Management for Developer Platforms, some food, some music, some social time with your peers and lots of prizes -- then you have the makings for this event. Our Day of .NET is so big it has to be spread out over 2 days.
Sounds good. How much does it cost?
This year's event has a regular full price registration of $200.00 each. This registration includes:
- Attendance to any of the nearly 100 great technical sessions
- Lunch for 2 days
- Breakfast for 2 days
- Message from a distinguished Microsoft product team member
- Friday evening social event
- Access to our Charity Used Book Fair
- Personal time with industry experts
- Great give-aways
For attendees who register prior to July 2nd, 2011 we are offering an Early Bird discounted rate of $125 for a ticket to our event.
How do I attend this event?
Like last year, we are holding this years Day of .NET at the Ameristar Casino Resort in St. Charles, Missouri. You will need to arrive first thing on Friday August 5th to check in, receive your event identification and share a nice breakfast. Registration will be open throughout both days of the event if you are unable to arrive early Friday.
An overview of the event agenda will be available soon.
Traveling in from out of town? (Or just interested in a night away from home with your spouse in a beautiful suite?) Stay tuned for details on how to book suites at the Ameristar and receive our special conference rate (which is a substantial discount over their standard rates). We encourage you take the opportunity to hang around, spend the night, and enjoy the social events and networking opportunities that we have planned. Saturday sessions start promptly in the morning and they continue for the day. It is your choice what sessions you attend.
What do I bring with me?
You are attending teaching sessions so bring what you would normally take to a technical class. These are lecture style sessions so computers are not required. You may bring a laptop if you wish. Bring a mobile phone with SMS capabilities to receive on-site agenda updates. When you check in, you will receive a notepad and a pen. Food will be provided during designated breakfast and lunch times. Some drinks and snacks will be available at various other times during the day. You may leave and re-enter the facility at any time as long as you hang on to your event identification.
Are there any guidelines?
Yes, please be aware of the following rules regarding your registration:
- There will be no refunds issued after July 15, 2011
- Walk-in registrations will be allowed, but only with exact change in cash
- Registrations received after July 15, 2011, include only attendance and food; they are not guaranteed shirts, notebooks, or other conference giveaways
- There are no discounts available for attending only one day of the event, however your pass may be handed off to someone else for the second day
- There are no group discounts or student discounts available

- A wealth of knowledge
- New friendships and professional connections

- A nice polo shirt you can proudly wear at work
