St. Leo's Outdoor Mass (60 people max). Mass is celebrated in the Patio.
About this Event
- Face masks required for everyone over the age of 6.
- Everyone attending Mass (including children of all ages) is required to register for a ticket.
- If you have been exposed to COVID-19, are feeling sick, or have a fever, cough, or muscle aches, please stay home & participate via Livestream.
- Please practice social distancing by maintaining a minimum 6-foot distance from others not from your household while attending Mass.
- Mass attendees will be asked to sanitize their hands when entering the worship space and immediately before receiving Communion. You are invited to bring your own hand sanitizer.
- The following will be the protocol for receiving Communion:
- The faithful approach the priest/deacon/extraordinary minister wearing face masks and fully extend their arms/hands, maintaining as much distance as possible.
- After receiving Communion on the hand, move 6- feet away from the minister.
- With free hand, lower face mask, consume the host, reposition face mask, and return to seat.
- People who are in high-risk categories (over the age of 65 or with underlying health issues or compromised immune systems) should refrain from attending Mass.
- Bishop Cantu's general dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains in effect for all Catholics in the Diocese of San Jose until further notice.
