Description

St. Francis Heart Valve Symposium

Course Objectives:

  • Discuss current state-of-the-art surgical and transcatheter options for aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve disease.

  • State the early evaluation and management of patients with structural heart valve disease and interpret non-invasive diagnostic modalities utilized for the evaluation for structural heart valve disease.

  • Describe updates with respect to the evaluation and new treatment options for structural heart disease.

Target Audience: Internists, Cardiologists, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses

Accreditation: St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® is accredited by The Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. St. Francis Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

St. Francis Hospital, Roslyn, NY, is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses may earn 6.25 credits for attending.
