Over forty years ago, seven mothers and their children with cerebral palsy gathered at a home in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico in search of opportunities for their children to receive the best medical treatment. That small gathering became what is known today as St. Andrew’s Children’s Clinic in Nogales, Arizona, which provides no-cost medical attention to over 250 Mexican children on the first Thursday of every month, except July. With over 40 volunteers, including doctors, medical professionals, and administrative support, the Clinic’s mission is to help children receive the medical attention they are unable to find in their home country and support them to achieve a healthy, successful future.

This year has been difficult for our Clinic. Due to the risks of COVID-19, we held our last Clinic in March. Like most people and organizations, we have had to start thinking out of the box and find creative ways to keep providing services. Through telemedicine and virtual presentations, we have continued to connect with our donors and help patients receive care and continue with their medical treatments.

Even through all the difficulties this year has brought, we want to come together to celebrate our children, honor our donors, and support our beloved Clinic. Which is why we invite you to our first-ever Virtual Christmas Concert. St. Andrew’s Children’s Clinic is proud to present the band Diluvio Az for an afternoon of holiday music and cheer. And make sure to stick around until the end for a very special surprise performance!

Hace más de cuarenta años, siete madres y sus hijos con parálisis cerebral se reunieron en una casa de Nogales, Sonora, México en busca de mejores oportunidades para que sus hijos recibieran atención médica. Esa pequeña reunión se convirtió en lo que hoy conocemos como Clínica de Niños San Andrés en Nogales, Arizona, la cual proporciona atención médica sin costo a mas de 250 niños Mexicanos durante el primer Jueves de cada mes, excepto Julio. Con más de 40 voluntarios que incluyen doctores y personal médico y administrativo, la misión de la Clínica es ayudar a niños y niñas para que reciban la atención médica que no encuentran en su país y apoyarlos para que tenga un futuro sano y próspero.

Este año ha sido difícil para la Clínica. Debido a los riesgos de COVID-19, nuestra última Clínica se llevó a cabo en Marzo. Como muchas otras personas y organizaciones, hemos tenido que buscar maneras creativas de seguir dando servicios. Por medio de consultas y presentaciones virtuales, hemos continuado en contacto con donadores y nuestros pacientes han podido recibir atención médica y continuar con tratamientos.

A pesar de todas las dificultades que el año ha traído, queremos reunirnos para celebrar a nuestros niños, honrar a nuestros donadores, y apoyar a nuestra querida Clínica. Por ello, los invitamos a nuestro primer Concierto Navideño Virtual.
