Event Details

The SSC Culinary Council is proud to present its inaugural pop-up fundraiser event.

Featuring:
Chef
Brandon LaVielle, A SSC Alum & Current Executive Chef of Emerald Cove Catering!

The cost for this event is $50 per person, all proceeds go to benefit the SSC Culinary Arts program and students.

Please keep in mind that we have limited seats for this event, it is by registration only & we will be unable to accept walk-in customers for the event.

 

 This event will feature a 5 course menu, planned by Chef LaVielle and executed with assistance from SSC Culinary students. We are also proud to offer you a free wine tasting featuring a selection of fine wine from the NWWA Spring Release, which takes place June 12th-14th.




All proceeds from this event go to improving the South Seattle College Culinary program, we are very greatful for your support.


First Course

Halibut Sashimi with Blood Orange Curd 

(Halibut, Blood Orange Curd, Pickled Red Onions)

 

 

Second Course

Dungeness Crab Miso Bisque

(Dungeness Crab, Miso, Northwest Mushrooms)

 

 


Third Course

Grilled Baby Romaine with Yuzu Caesar dressing

(Baby Romaine, Yuzu Caesar, Quail Egg)

 

 

Fourth Course

Cherry Smoked Braised Short Ribs  with a Sake Wasabi Beurre Blanc

(Short Ribs, Sake, Wasabi, Mango Rice, Pickled Bok Choy Salad)

 

 

Fifth Course

Almond Blackberry Tart with Green Tea Ice Cream

(Almonds, Blackberries, Green Tea, Candied Ginger, Sesame Tuile)

 

 

 

 We do accept all major credit cards. Space is limited. Please notify us if there is a change or cancellation and for any dietary restrictions prior to the event.
