Zoology - Adaptations & Habitats

This Zoology Class will introduce students to the study of living animals. Students will work to understand how animal adaptations and habitats allow them to thrive in our world. By researching and observing animals, students will be challenged to understand how unique habitats can accommodates all of the physical, emotional, and social needs of the animals in our world. This class will be using resources provided by the Oakland Zoo and the class will even receive a visit from the ZooMobile so that students can learn from experts in our community.

This class is developed and taught by Kristine Banis, 3rd Grade Teacher at Bollinger Canyon Elementary School.

Please be mindful when registering for this program. By registering for this Eventbrite Event, you are registering for the series of dates within the event. No refunds will be granted unless the spot can be filled by another child on the waitlist. Refunds within one week of the start of the course will incur a $25 processing fee.
Waitlist will be handled in order until 24 hours before the event. At that time if a spot becomes available, the entire waiting list will be notified at the same time and the first to respond will be offered the spot
