Bruce Springsteen on the Radio

A Conversation with David Dye and Tom Cunningham with Special Guest, photographer, Frank Stefanko

April 6, 7:00 p.m.
The Present Day Club, 72 Stockton St., Princeton, NJ 08525

Radio legends, David Dye of WXPN and creator and host of the World Cafe, and Tom Cunningham host of Bruce Brunch on The Hawk 105.7 Classic Rock of the Jersey Shore will talk about Springsteen’s early career and the role the region’s radio stations played in launching the then-fledgling rock ‘n roller to a global audience.

Frank Stefanko, whose photographs are featured in Morven’s current exhibition, Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey, will join the conversation and talk about his experiences working with Springsteen early in both their careers. The cover photo on Springsteen's recent memoir, Born to Run, was shot by Stefanko in 1978.

This program is presented in partnership with Princeton Public Library and Morven Museum & Garden in conjunction with Morven’s current exhibition Bruce Springsteen: A Photographic Journey, curated by The GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles. The exhibition is on view through May 21. For more information visit morven.org/programs.
