Need a break, a reboot, a chance to mindfully re-connect with yourself and/or dear ones? Looking for a unique gift for yourself or someone you love? Come Relax, Rejuvenate, and Refresh with us in Spring 2019 in beautiful rural Connecticut. Just two easy hours from both NYC and Boston.

Your mindful and fun weekend getaway includes:

  • Yoga/mindful movement daily
  • Guided meditation/deep relaxation session
  • Chef-prepped seasonal meals
  • A guided mindfulness hike with a guest teacher who is an experienced hiker and meditator
  • Access to 17-acre retreat house grounds, including a meditation labyrinth
  • Accommodations in renovated guest rooms, each with its on private en-suite bathroom and thermostat for temperature control of your space. Guest rooms sleep 1-3, depending on what option you choose.
  • Access to common spaces of the roomy retreat center, a farmhouse-turned-bed and breakfast-turned retreat center
  • Tennis courts
  • Sauna
  • Gym

Optional group or solo activity ideas (extra cost may apply):

  • Visit a nearby farm and farmer's market
  • Explore the nearby Chester, CT (art galleries, coffee shops, etc)
  • More hiking desired? Hike one of many trails in the area, including a state forest that abuts the retreat center

Easy to get to location:

  • Take the Amtrak train to Old Saybrook, and a twenty-minute cab or Uber to the retreat house in Chester, CT. Retreat leader will put you in touch with other guests if you are interested in riding the train up together, sharing the car service, or putting together car pools.

About Your Organizer:

  • Bria Tavakoli has been teaching yoga in New York City since 2008 and leading retreats almost as long. She hosts mind-body retreats regionally and globally. Her classes are creative, inspired, and friendly. She is also a Reiki Level 2 practitoner and writer. Her work has appeared in media outlets such as Prevention, NY Yoga and Life, the Village Voice. Bria has a deep awareness, fascination, and respect for the connection of mind, body, and spirit. Bria grew up in Texas, moving to NYC to attend Columbia University. She loves traveling, dark chocolate, and curating her leg warmer collection.
