Description

This presentation will characterize the core features of common neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Strategies for identifying “at-risk” children and voicing concerns to parents will also be reviewed. The final portion of this seminar will focus on behavioral management strategies for children with neurodevelopmental disorders as well as their neurotypical peers. Dr. Victoria Tuchscherer is a staff neuropsychologist with NorthShore University Health System.
