Over the past few weeks, we've seen four exciting new additions to LA's public space: The city's first parklets—yes, tiny, community-designed parks—have been popping up on city streets. We'll be visiting two of the parklets on Spring Street in downtown, hearing from the planners, designers, local business owners and neighbors who made these parklets possible. Learn how this team worked together, see how the city is now officially supporting these efforts, and find out how you can bring a parklet to your block! For more information about these parklets, check out the Spring Street Parklets page at the DLANC website.
