About this event
Come see all the baby lambs, watch the shearer, learn all the ways to use wool, crafts for kids, photos with lambs, concessions, shop the farm store. The shearing will be ongoing. You can purchase the whole fleece from your favorite sheep! We have wool samples for crafts- bring a bag to take some wool home!
Watch the only sheep dairy in SC with the milking parlor and the Border Collie and the Livestock Guardian Dogs and their puppies in training- it’s a great day on the farm.
Prepare for Easter-Hear the message from the shepherd about the Lamb
10am-10:40am watch the Border collie taking the dairy sheep and goats back to their pastures, watch the milking in progress.
10:45am-3pm The sheep shearer will be working to help our sheep be ready for the summer with a new ‘hair’ do!
11am-1pm Concessions available in the store, picnic areas open.
11am See the wool working - spinning wheels, knitters, crafts for kids.
1pm-1:30pm Easter message- The Blessing of the Lamb
1:30pm-2pm watch the lambs being fed bottles
2pm photo ops with lambs, baby goats, Learn about the Guardian Dogs
230pm-watch the Border collie taking the dairy sheep and goats back to their pastures, watch the milking in progress.
