Can I bring my dog to the behind the scenes tour?

Unfortunately not. We will be walking out into the fields where we keep livestock and even with dogs on leads it would be unsafe for us all to have dogs with us.

Will there be a lot of walking?

Yes, it’s a walking tour. We will walk along an uneven farm track out to the cattle that graze on the dune system near Elie. We will then walk back in and out to our veg field and around the farm buildings.

Is it suitable for children?

You are very welcome to bring your children. Please just be aware that the tour isn’t specifically aimed at children. We won’t be handling any of our animals. There is also quite a bit of walking.

What happens if the weather is awful?

We will go ahead with the tours unless the weather is unsafe. In which case you will be refunded.

Clothes suitable for walking. Waterproof shoes, boots or wellies. If the forecast is wet please bring waterproofs, if it looks hot, a hat and cool clothes would be advisable. All footwear will need to be disinfected on the farm for biosecurity measures.
