Spring Mindfulness: Two-Day Meditation Retreat
Start your spring with a bright mind by joining us for our first Two Day Meditation Retreat, taking place Saturday, April 1st from 9am to 4 pm and Sunday, April 2nd 9 am to 2 pm. We encourage you to join both days, but if you are unavailable, you are welcome to choose one day. You can come both days, or one, whatever works for you! Whether you are a beginner or expert, everyone is welcome to participate. Our event will feature mindfulness activities and group meditation that will cultivate peace of mind throughout the day.
For this event, we are happy to be welcoming back Dr. Venerable Nicholas, a Buddhist monk fluent in English, born and raised in England. Dr. Venerable Nicholas will lead the program with Dharma talks and meditation instruction.
We will provide lunch and refreshments on both days. If you have allergies, you can bring your own lunch. Our center has mats and chairs, but you can bring your own mat if you wish. All we ask that you bring is a suggested donation of $30 to help cover the cost of food and Dr. Venerable Nicholas's plane ticket. If you are coming for only one day, we ask for $20.
Hope to see you there! If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us at www.DmcChicago.org or call Pranee 773-680-0313.
