Description

Join fellow SVP Partners to celebrate the impact of our collective work at the 2019 Spring Meeting!

Board Chair, Bob Woods, will begin the evening by looking at the dynamic vision of SVP Seattle. In any time of transition, questions arise about what will change, what will stay true, and what it means for the organization as a whole and each of us as individuals. Bob will share a ‘state of the partnership’ to illustrate the compelling work of the SVP community and help clarify the path ahead. You will also hear inspiring highlights from our Investee Organizations and Partner stories from the past year.

From there, we will celebrate the work of our two ‘graduating’ Investee Organizations, Open Arms and Spark Northwest. You will learn more about their impactful work as they share insider details about where their organizations were before starting their relationship with SVP Seattle and where this partnership has helped them get in the five years since. We will then invite a few Partners to join us on stage to have a lively conversation about what they have learned about what it takes to achieve social change, the impact of power disparities and inequity, and what roles we can play in social progress.

The Annual Spring meeting is an ideal time to connect with old friends, welcome new partners, and finish the program year with excitement for what is to come. This will also be an opportunity to meet our new Interim Executive Director – and past SVP staffer – Aaron Jacobs.
