Event description

Description

Focus your curiosity on the amazing creatures that thrive amid the floral splendor of Wave Hill’s spring gardens. Explore Wave Hill with a Bronx-based entomologist (insect scientist) to hunt for native creatures in their garden habitats. Find out why insects are so important to our local ecosystems both big and small, from city parks and gardens to street trees and window boxes. Appropriate for ages 8 and older accompanied by an adult.

Meet at Perkins Visitor Center. Admission to the grounds is free until noon.
