Overview

Help protect the biodiversity of Spring Hammock Preserve while enjoying a fun hike!

The SERV Program and Seminole County Natural Lands invite you to a habitat restoration project and hike at Spring Hammock Preserve. Volunteers will assist in removing invasive plants to protect biodiversity while enjoying a hike to the new boardwalk to Lake Jesup.

KICK-OFF: Participants can park in the parking area along Osprey Trail. We will be meeting by the Environmental Study Center sign.

ATTIRE: Closed-toe shoes are required; long pants and work gloves are suggested. Sun protection and bug protection may be desired.

LIABILITY FORMS: Each participant must bring a completed liability form to the event. Forms can be found at the SERV Program website: https://www.seminolecountyfl.gov/departments-services/public-works/watershed-management/serv-program/index.stml#.

ADDITIONAL: volunteers should bring their own water to drink.
