We welcome toddlers to join our Garden Buds Program! Tailored to our youngest gardeners, these classes let children explore the wonder of nature through hands-on work and play in the garden, taste garden produce, and create botanical crafts. *Each child must be accompanied by only one adult. Please no siblings.*
This is a 6-class series on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
Dates: April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, June 4, and June 11
$110 / $99 for members*
If you must cancel after registering, notify the Children's Garden at 718-886-3800 x218 or firstname.lastname@example.org at least five (5) business days before the start of the session and the Garden will refund your fee minus a $10 registration fee per child. Refunds for cancellations less than five days prior to the start of the session will be issued only if a registrant from a waiting list will fill the space. No refunds or credits are issued after a garden session begins. No discounts can be applied after you pay.
We encourage you to sign up on the waiting list, as spots sometimes become available at the last minute. QBG will notify you if a spot opens up and you will have a limited time to sign up for the program before the spot is offered to the next person. Please check our website for updates or mark your calendar to sign up for the next season.
By attending QBG programs you may grant permission to Queens Botanical Garden to take and use you and your child's photograph and name in perpetuity, in all forms of print and electronic media used to promote, publicize, or advertise the Garden, its activities, and programs.
In the case that an event is cancelled, you will be notified via email.
PLEASE NOTE: By purchasing tickets and attending QBG events, you hereby opt in to receiving e-communications from the Garden. You may receive e-mail updates about future QBG events and news through the email address you provide. If you do not wish to receive future communication, simply click the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of an email.
QBG staff strives to provide a place of peace, beauty, and safety for the quiet enjoyment of our visitors. QBG is a living museum, a collection of gardens for the study, culture, exhibition, and display of plants. We encourage our visitors to explore, enjoy, and be respectful of our plant collections and to be considerate of fellow guests as well. For more guidelines on garden etiquette, click here.
