Spring Fling on Sue Barnett Drive

Join us for this Sip & Stroll fundraising event on the 1300 block of Sue Barnett Drive in Houston's Garden Oaks neighborhood (77018) on Saturday, April 29, 2017 (rain date is May 6) from 4:00-6:30 pm.
The event will feature front yard garden tours, miniature garden displays, fairy house displays, and curated vendors with creative yard art and container gardens for sale.
This family & adult friendly event will also feature local home & garden service providers as well as food and drinks for children and adults (ncluding wine and beer) which will be provided by area restaurants, businesses and residents.
Table hosts providing food and/or drink tastings include: Rainbow Lodge, The Union Kitchen, Marchese's Kitchen, The Barking Pig, Great Heights Brewing Company, Naturally Sweet Treats, Eureka Heights Brew Co., La Fresca Pizza, Frenchy's Chicken, The Happy Macaron, Spaghetti Western, Mi Sombrero, The Baker's Man, GO Kids, The Petrelli Family, The Driver Family, The Goad Family, Katrina Rene, The House Manager, Natran, Animal Justice League and more!
Also participating in this event: Friends of Oak Forest Park, which is a group working to create a park for all abilities at Oak Forest Park (they will host a fairy tale reading at the Spring Fling event), and RPM (Rescued Pets Movement) will host a wonderful silent auction benefiting their dedicated work rescuing and assisting animals in our area.
This is a Garden Oaks Civic Club sanctioned event and the funds will benefit the Beautification Committee for non-maintenance-funding use to help further beautify our great neighborhood.
Any area residents and businesses are invited to create a transportable fairy house or miniature garden to be featured and displayed at the event. Architects, builders, artists, creative adults and children, individually or in groups, are welcome to participate in this display of spring inspiration and community fun!
Tickets are limited and cannot be sold after capacity has been reached. Buy your tickets now to ensure availability!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Attendees must be 21+ to access the beer and wine tables. All other activities are for attendees of all ages.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
CHECK IN: there will be a check in table at each end (about 3 houses in from each corner of Sue Barnett at Althea and at Sue Barnett at Alba) of Sue Barnett (1318 Sue Barnett and 1346 Sue Barnett).
PARKING: the 1300 block of Sue Barnett will be closed to through traffic during the event to allow safe walking/strolling for event attendees. Street parking is available on adjacent streets; walking, biking or carpooling is encouraged. Bikes can be secured to the chain link fence located at 1314 Sue Barnett.
NOTE: most of the adjacent streets are somewhat narrow and without curbs; please be courteous and do not block street entrances or driveways, and park so that vehicles can still pass through the adjacent streets for general traffic and emergency vehicles.

What's the refund policy?
No refunds are available for this event. In event of rain, the 4/29 event date will be rescheduled to 5/6.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
There are no printed tickets for this event; we will log your registration and wristbands will be provided to paid attendees.
Can I update my registration information?
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
You can personally sell your registration fee and the new attendee can provide your name at registration; you MUST notify us in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can record the change and permit the new person to obtain your registration.ID will be required to prove 21+ for alcohol access if applicable.
