Smart Lunch, Smart Kid Summer 2015 Lunch Donations
More than one million schoolchildren in Georgia receive free or reduced-price lunch, a crucial meal that disappears in the summer. Smart Lunch, Smart Kid mobilizes communities to ensure that these children are fed by taking lunch to them in their neighborhoods, as well as providing enrichment activities and mentoring opportunities. Since our inaugural summer in 2012, Smart Lunch, Smart Kid has served more than half a million lunches, with a goal of 250,000 in 2016.
Service begins on April 3. Your group can sign up below to provide as few as 50 or as many as 1000 lunches! We also need donations of nonperishable lunch items, school supplies, books and funds.
When choosing "tickets" for making lunches:
1 ticket=50 lunches 6 tickets=300 lunches
2 tickets=100 lunches 7 tickets=350 lunches
3 tickets=150 lunches 8 tickets=400 lunches
4 tickets=200 lunches 9 tickets=450 lunches
5 tickets=250 lunches 10 tickets=500 lunches
Each "ticket" for delivering lunches is equal to one volunteer.
The work we do through Smart Lunch, Smart Kid is not possible without Life-Changers like you!
