Spring & Summer Vegetable Gardens

In a class lead by Leu Gardens’ Director, Robert Bowden, discover a surprisingly wide variety of vegetables and fruits that perform their best in our region’s intense summer heat and humidity. The class will tour the vegetable garden near the Cottage and then scurry back to the classroom to learn more about how and what to grow in Central Florida.
Robert Bowden is the Director of Leu Gardens and author of Florida Top Ten Garden Guide by Sunset Books and Florida Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles by Cool Springs Press.
Continuing Educaction Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professional upon request.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
