Continuing Legal Education
Spring 2019 CLE Weekend

For recent graduates and newly admitted attorneys, this CLE Weekend qualifies for 3 Ethics, 6 Skills, and 7 Practice transitional Bridge the Gap credits. No partial credits will be awarded.

For seasoned attorneys, this CLE Weekend qualifies for 3 Ethics, 4 Skills, and 7 Practice credits and 2 credits in the new mandatory category – Diversity, Inclusion, and Elimination of Bias.

Note: Seasoned attorneys are required to complete at least 1 CLE credit hour in Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias as part of their biennial CLE Requirement (effective July 1, 2018).

Two tracks will be offered. Choose between:

Track One—Real Estate Closings A-Z

  • In this two-day program, in conjunction with the Mattone Family Institute for Real Estate Law, our team will present a detailed tutorial that will provide you with all you need to know about Real Estate Closings and more.

Track Two—The Variety Pack

  • Lights, Camera – Ethics: A Cinematic Review of the Rules of Professional Conduct
  • To ADR or Not to ADR, That is the Question… or
    Diversity, Inclusion and Elimination of Bias (new requirement for seasoned attorneys)
  • A Guide to Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies and Living Wills: From Intake to Drafting to Execution

Hardship Guidelines:
• All recent graduates from the Classes of 2017 and 2018 may apply for a hardship discount of 50%. Kindly make that notation when you submit your registration form.
• Active members of the Alumni Association (Dues paid for 2018/2019) may apply for a discount of 20%.
• Any other participant who has an authentic financial hardship may apply for a hardship discount of 10%.
