Spring 2017 Reading Group: The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2016
Every year, students in the first-year only Cornerstone course have a common read. In 2017-18, it is The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2016. Join us to read selections from the book and brainstorm effective ways of teaching this text. If you are interested in talking with colleagues about ways to teach different genres of literary texts, join us! Everyone is welcome, whether you are teaching Cornerstone or a first-year only course or not.
We provide the book; you provide yourself! Please register by February 15, 2017.
We'll meet on Wednesdays at 2:00 in Library 378 on the following days: March 1, March 8, March 22, April 5 and April 19.
Facilitated by Rachel Morgan (Languages and Literatures) Susan Hill (CETL), and members of the group.
