ALL CLASSES ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. All transactions are final, no refunds, no exceptions. You can always inquire for a trial class at $25 per class.

The Mandarin Class teaching style is interactive with an emphasis on spoken language for practical use, and some character learning. Students participate in simple conversations and respond to visual tools for vocabulary building. The teacher is a native of China, and an experienced, professional teacher with a degree in language education. This is an enthusiastic teacher who makes learning fun for students of all levels. Adult classes emphasize conversational Mandarin basics, Chinese cultural practices, and some essential characters. Beginner Mandarin Class - For absolute beginners, or those with very limited Mandarin background.


Time: Saturday, 2:00-3:30pm
Location: Chinese Culture Center Wells Fargo Room. 750 Kearny St. 3rd Floor

No Class the week of Memorial Day

Tuition: $150 per person for online registration and $175 for in house registration.

Textbook for this class: New Practical Chinese Reader, Volume 1. Can be purchaed online, or in Chinatown at East Wind Books.

The Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco is a major community-based, non-profit organization established in 1965 to foster the understanding and appreciation of Chinese and Chinese American art, history, and culture in the United States.

In its 45 years of work, CCC has played a pioneering role in introducing Chinese culture to the American public through exhibitions and public programming of a broad spectrum of Chinese traditional and contemporary artistic works in multiple disciplines: Visual Arts, Literature, Music and Theater.
