In 2018, Merav Vonshak made the first observation in Santa Clara County of the Great Spreadwing dragonfly. Hence, she named this locale the Spreadwing Seep since it is a trickle of water from a spring.
During this virtual BioBlitz, we explore the natural spring where dragonflies flit and all sorts of little-seen water bugs live. Birds and mammals enjoy visiting this hidden wonder.
