Sat, April 1, 2017, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PDT
Asset Protection for the Married Couples: Essentials of Spousal Protection
This is a workshop just for married couples who have not yet implemented an estate plan that accounts for probate, possible estate tax and, most importantly, asset erosion from long-term care costs. In this workshop, Darol will explain to attendees the importance of an estate plan that includes an asset protection plan for the surviving spouse.
- Explanation of Probate: Advantages and Disadvantages - How to Implement a Plan to Preserve Income and Assets for the Surviving Spouse - Ways to Reduce Unecessary Estate Tax, Federal or State, for Larger Estates - Common Mistakes in Estate and Long-Term Care Planning and How to Avoid Them
* NOTE: Workshop Limited to Married Couples Only
This Workshop is limited to married couples only. Both spouses must attend. The workshop is FREE. However, seating is limited to just ten (10) couples. The Workshop is located in Pioneer Square on a Saturday Morning so traffic should be fine. The Workshop is located at the same building as Darol's Seattle office. Public parking is available in a public parking lot in the same building or on the street. For more information about the venue, click here.
