Spotlight on EAST SIDE SOUND

Join AES New York Section Officers and Committee, for a hybrid in person and Facebook Live panel visiting and touring East Side Sound, NYC’s longest established indy recording studio. The event will include a short recording session and discussion covering recording techniques, history of the studio and an interview of the original owner and engineer Lou Holtzman as well as the father and son team / new owners of the studio, Andres and Nicholas Pollack.

Topics will include a discussion on the recording techniques and creative music elements involved in the daily sessions being recorded and mixed at East Side.

The panelists will be interviewed by Moderator / AES NY Co-Chair Roey Shamir.

Date: October 19th 2023

Time: doors open 5:00 pm est, event and facebook live at 6pm on AES NY Sections facebook group (link), Q&A at 6:45, Raffle at 7. Short networking hang.

In person ticket enters attendees present into a raffle for an NFR copy of Eventide's Omnipressor plug in. Ilok account required for winner to receive this prize. One lucky attendee will win a copy donated by Eventide, raffle at end of the event.
