TO JOIN THE LIVE WEBCAST ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, VISIT:  http://www.ustream.tv/channel/uofm-injury-center---sport-concussion-center

The morning session is designed for researchers and others with interest in the scientific aspects of concussion.

The afternoon session will feature information beyond the science -- including policy implications, education, legal aspects, the media's role, and more.

With a balance of in-depth science and thought-provoking discussion led by national experts, this event offers an opportunity to gain a richer understanding of one of today's hottest sports topics. Legendary former U-M football coach Lloyd Carr will kick the morning off. The lunchtime keynote speaker will be Brian Hainline, MD, Chief Medical Officer for the NCAA. Once the sessions have ended, you're invited to stay for a complimentary "backstage" tour of U of M's famed Michigan Stadium (5 to 6 pm).

This event will also be webcast for those unable to attend in person. All sessions will be recorded and made availabe on the U-M Injury Center's website 1-2 weeks after the Summit. If you cannot join us in-person on Sept. 24th, please consider registering separately for the live webcast. A separate link to register for the webcast will be available soon. Until then, please register through Eventbrite and indicate "I plan to attend the summit via live webcast" during registration. We will contact you directly once the webcast registration link is active.
