Carnegie Mellon University (“CMU”), acting through its Software Engineering Institute (“SEI”), is hosting the FloCon 2019 Conference (“Conference”), to foster collaboration between government, industry, and academia in large-scale data analysis for cybersecurity. The Conference is planned for January 7-10, 2019, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The SEI is seeking sponsors to help defray costs related to the conference.

FloCon is an open forum for large-scale network defense analytics, where network security professionals from all over the world can discuss the analysis of large volumes of traffic and showcase the next generation of flow-based analysis techniques.

 

The CERT Division is a trusted provider of operationally relevant cybersecurity research and innovative and timely solutions to our nation's cybersecurity challenges. Through our operationally relevant cybersecurity research, innovative and timely responses to cybersecurity challenges, and broad transition to our stakeholder communities, the CERT Division develops, executes, and evolves a technical agenda that brings unique solutions to cybersecurity challenges that measurably improve the security of the cyber environment.
