The Right to Bare Arms Madelyn Webb
I discovered weightlifting as ‘my’ sport in my seventh decade. However, this talk will not be focused on going to the gym. I will reflect how the patterns in my life led to this somewhat unusual turn of events and also came into play as I entered my ‘third act’ and faced challenges including job loss, “retirement” and finding new friends and purpose.
You Really Can Say Anything to Anyone Eleanor James
It just depends on how you say it. Lots of people are not skilled in this arena and I was one of them. And like lots of people I’ve been talking all my life, a lot. Then I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to figure out my personnel communications. I figured out how to speak to people without clumsiness or even worse, thoughtlessly knocking the wind from their sails. The difference it made was massive and glorious. It’s like having a new toy. As I’m fond of saying, “Imagine being so skillful that you can navigate every conversation with ease.”
