Splash Trash and You
Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Have you been seeing more and more plastic trash on the beach and in the ocean? You’re not the only one. Plastic marine pollution is now a global problem; by 2050, there will be more pounds of trash in the ocean than pounds of fish.
Join the Splash Trash Tour creator, Bette Booth, to discuss the status of plastic in our oceans and what we can do to make a difference. Is recycling the answer? Are ocean clean-up technologies? Join in this interactive presentation to learn the answers to these and many other questions about this increasingly pressing local and global issue.
