Event description
A signature event of the Purdue Black Cultural Center's 50th year Celebration. Exploring spirituality, faith, justice and wellness.

About this Event

This being the BCC’s 50th year, our objective with this event is to explore dimensions of identity, activism and peace. Spirituality at the Intersections will take place on Sunday November 10, 2019, and will be a collective practice; exploring the bridges between spirituality, faith, justice and wellness. It’s a focused time for intentional dialogue between intergenerational, interracial and interfaith practitioners. It calls on mystics, contemplatives, faith leaders and activists to share best practices for peace in the world; internally and externally. The event will feature panelists: Fr. Richard Rohr, Dr. Abegunde Hamilton, Teresa Mateus LCSW and Venerable Lobzang Dorge.
