Join this international competition headquartered in Houston! Each year, the Spirit of Innovation Challenge gives high school students around the world the opportunity to adapt their science and technology studies to create products or services to address global sustainability and benefit humanity. Students design products in one of four categories: aerospace and aviation; energy and environment; health and nutrition; and cyber security and technology. For more information, visitwww.conradawards.org.

What's the incentive? Finalist teams receive a travel grant to present at the 2014 Innovation Summit at NASA Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston for a chance to win a $10,000 seed grant to develop their product or service.

Abstract applications accepted August 22 through October 24.
