SPIRIT OF ACTIVIST MEMOIRS "Stop sitting on the sidelines"

Spirit of an Activist tells the story of Mokah Jasmine-Johnson from her early days as a Jamaican immigrant in the U.S. to her recent work in building the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement in response to racial injustices in her hometown and nationwide. Part survival manual, part manifesto for the examined life, part biography, with a selection of photo's Spirit of an Activist is, above all, an honest and searching book that will inspire readers to actualize their potential as citizens during these desperate and politically fraught times.

Mokah’s is the voice of wisdom and experience, leadership, and love, with a parting message that we are all bound together as neighbors, no matter our differences.

So join Mokah for an evening of celebration and conversation as she introduces her new book "Spirit of an Activist."

This intimate event will be the debut of Mokahs's first book. She will share her journey as an activist, wife, and mother and there will be a conversation about parenting, politics, racism, activism, and spirituality.

The audience will choose the main discussion topic at the event. We will have food, live performances, giveaways, a discussion and Q&A with the Author.

Only 150 copies will be printed and available. So purchase your copy in advance and get it signed there! A limited amount will be available for sale the night of the event.

Books ordered during the presale will be available for pickup at the event.
