Event description

Description

Part One of Spinal Symmetry is all online and consists of three hours of instructional videos and a two-hour live webinar on March 31st at 1:00 - 3:00 PM EST.

Part Two of Spinal Symmetry is an in-personal training on April 15th at 9:00 - 4:00 PM at Studio26 in NYC.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

This ticket is for Spinal Symmetry part one [videos and live webinar] and part two [in-personal class]. If you wish to attend ONLY part one [videos and live webinar], please purchase your ticket here.

Participation in the live webinar on March 31st is mandatory for all who wish to attend the April 15th in-person class.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Each person’s unique spinal preference for motion is at the core of how they move. In this course you will learn how to identify the most common asymmetrical spinal movement preferences and how to provide practical, safe and concise cues to help move the client to increased symmetry of movement potential. These strategies can be used for all clients regardless of ability or fitness level.

PART ONE

Part one of this two-part course is all online. The course begins with three hours of short instructional videos. With that preparation you are then invited to attend a live two-hour webinar with Blossom and Marshall designed to answer questions and provide examples of how to apply what you have learned in the videos. Part one can be used alone to inform your practice, although most participants find attending Part Two helps solidify knowledge and skills.

PART TWO

Part two is a full day lab course with Blossom and Marshall. Information from part one is used as a framework as participants identify each other’s spinal preferences and practice applying the cues and principles to improve symmetry using a wide variety of Pilates exercises.
