In February 2013 a very successful speed dating event was held in Detroit, Michigan. We're bringing it back for round 2!
When you're busy and ambitious, meeting someone for companionship can be a time consuming task. Blind dates are hard to plan. Online dating takes a lot of time and can be dangerous.
Speed Daytwah is a happy medium. It doesn't take a lot of time to sign up. The event is held in a same location. And it's a lot of fun. The bar will be open and there will be delicious food prepared by the culinary students at COLORS.
On Thursday October 10, 2013 come out and meet like-minded, single professionals in Metro Detroit.
Must be 21 years old and older, single, employed and interested in meeting new people, of the opposite sex, for friendship, companionship or dating.
Online registration for men opens on Sept. 5, 2013

Online registration closes on October 9, 2013 OR when tickets sale out.
Onsite Check In/Registration Opens: 6:30 pm
Onsite Check In/Registration Closes: 7:00 pm
Speed Dating: 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Networking: 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Onsite registration and payment at the door are NOT guaranteed.
Online registrants receive priority over at the door registrants on the day of the event.
Event organizer reserves the right to deny entry for anyone who didn't register online in advance.
Affordable paid parking is available across the street in the Detroit Opera House parking structure.
To increase your chances of meeting someone at Speed Daytwah, email your high resolution photo to us at email@example.com and we'll upload it online to help you increase the number of potential daters you can meet. Please only send a headshot or head and upper body photo only; no nudity, lingerie or sexually suggestive poses will be accepted. SWPP reserves the right to decline your photo submission if it violates our criteria.
Your photo will only be used for the purpose of helping to increase potential daters. By providing your photo you agree that SWPP is not liable to you for any reason or recourse. Submitting a photo is not a guarantee that you will meet someone.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You must be 21 years of age with verifiable ID.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is paid parking at meters along the street and paid parking available in the Detroit Opera House parking structure across the street. Parking in the Detroit Opera House parking structure is highly recommended for your convenience.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
We ask that you please turn your phones off or put them on silent during the event so that you won't be disruptive.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
No. Please only register for yourself to attend. If you think someone else can benefit or would be interested, please feel free to share this event on social networks or with your friends.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. If you register on this site, we will have record of your registration and payment on file if you lose or forget your ticket.
What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds for you not attending, not arriving prior to speed dating beginning or for being dissatisfied with people, food, drinks or the location. There are no refunds for parking issues, acts of God or occurrences beyond the control of the event organizer (power outages, fire, illness, etc).
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. The person who registered should be the person who attends. Please only register for yourself to attend. If you think someone else can benefit or would be interested, please feel free to share this event on social networks or with your friends.
Do I have to submit a photo?
It's not a requirement, but it is a suggestion to improve the amount of potential people who will want to meet you at the event. It is a courtesy we extend to help you find more people who may be interested in you. We do not accept or decline participants based on their photo submissions.
