Denise Hamilton is the author of seven Los Angeles-based crime novels and the editor of Speculative Los Angeles (Feb 2021), which has received raves in the Los Angeles Times, L.A. Daily News, and the Wall Street Journal, which said its best stories evoke the humanism of Ray Bradbury. She edited the best-selling Los Angeles Noir (which includes a short story that won the Edgar award) and Los Angeles Noir 2: The Classics. Hamilton is a former L.A. Times journalist, Fulbright scholar and finalist for the Edgar Award for her novel The Jasmine Trade. Her next novel is a work of speculative fiction set in Los Angeles.
There is a special opportunity to purchase Speculative Los Angeles, Los Angeles Noir, or Los Angeles Noir 2 and support the Breakfast Club.
