In the spring of 1781, Major General Nathanael Greene and his American forces laid a month long siege against the British and loyalist forces holding Star Fort at Ninety Six. Join our state's public archaeologist for this SPECIAL Thursday Talks about the siege and the most current archaeological research conducted at Star Fort.

The Revolutionary War Visitor Center at Camden tells the story of the Southern Campaign (1780-1781). In addition to our permanent exhibit, the center hosts programs on the American Revolution, South Carolina's colonial era, and colonial Camden. Our programs focus on all the people who lived and fought during the American Revolution.
