Event description

Description

Join us at Cowell Theater at Fort Mason Center on Thursday, June 6 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM for the U.S. Premiere screening of Canada C3: Coast to Coast to Coast in celebration of World Ocean Day.

Canada C3, also known as Canada Coast to Coast to Coast, follows a 150-day expedition aboard the Polar Prince. The expedition, beginning in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia and ending in Victoria, British Columbia traveled over 25,000 kilometers along Canada’s coastline, the longest of any country in the world. With over 400 people participating in the journey, including high school students and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the journey engaged thousands of citizens living in over 75 coastal, mostly Indigenous, communities as well as millions of people who engaged virtually through various social and digital platforms. Connecting Canadians through shared stories of community, place and culture, the expedition focused on Reconciliation, the Environment, Diversity and Inclusion and Youth Engagement — all key components in building a better Canada.
