Join us on 15 October (18:00 – 20:00) for a Special Book Club reading with the award-winning author of No 1 bestseller, The Herbalist, Niamh Boyce to explore the fascinating Kilkenny/Flanders connection in her new novel "Her Kind".

Niamh Boyce was named Newcomer of the Year at the Irish Book Awards in 2013 for her debut novel The Herbalist, which was set in 1930s rural Ireland. For her latest offering Her Kind, she takes us back to 14th century Kilkenny. Inspired by the true story of Alice Kytler, "Her Kind", is a tense, moving and atmospheric re-imagining of the events leading up to the Kilkenny Witch Trial of 1324.
