Event description

Description

We invite you to the Special Olympics Chicago 6th Annual Evening Reception, which is being held once again at Carnivale (702 Fulton Market) at 5:30pm. Tickets will be $100, which includes food, drinks, entertainment, and more!

The proceeds from this reception will allow us to continue to support more than 7,500 athletes that participate in numerous events throughout the year.

This year, we are honoring Carey Pinkowski, the Executive Race Director of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and the Shannon Rovers Irish Bagpipe Band.

Carey and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon have been longstanding supporters of Special Olympics Chicago. They have assisted us in raising funds and resources for our athletes for over 10 years. Our partnership with the Bank of America Chicago Marathon has been vital to the success of Special Olympics Chicago.

Our second honoree, the Shannon Rovers Irish Bagpipe Band, have been avid supporters of our marquee event, the Chicago Polar Plunge, since 2005. In addition to the Chicago Polar Plunge, many of the members have volunteered at our athletic competitions throughout the year, including the Spring Games, our largest competition.

We thank Carey Pinkowski and the Shannon Rovers for their tremendous work and support. We would not be able to serve as many athletes as we do today without these honorees!

If you are interested in sponsoring this event, please contact Julia Jamieson at: Julia.jamieson@sochicago.org

We hope that you can join us. Please contact us at 312-527-3743 if you have any questions. Thank you very much for your consideration and support of Special Olympics Chicago.
