Event description

Description

The Special Needs Soccer Association (SPENSA) is a St. Louis-based nonprofit soccer program for young people with disabilities. This program is designed to bring the excitement and fun of playing soccer to players who traditionally have not had a place in the youth soccer system. Volunteers will be a “buddy” to players, helping them during the pregame warm-up and the game. Volunteers do not have to be soccer experts; they just need to be willing to have fun. There are coaches on the field who will give directions and assistance as needed.

Length of Project: 8:30 a.m.–10:30 a.m.

Age Limit: 13+

Materials to bring: None

Additional Info: Please contact the site leader if you would like to carpool from Christ Memorial to the soccer fields in Fenton.

Site leader: Lindsay Rundell
