Event Details

Every child is special to their parents. However, it breaks the parents’ heart to know that their child has early childhood developmental disorders. As parents, knowing how to support and steer their child towards their purpose in life is essential.

Join us at our event to learn and interact with other parents as our speakers share about caring for children with special needs, such as ADHD, autism, speech and language delays, dyslexia and others. We believe that early intervention is key to allow the child to master life skills and prevent the onset of further disabilities, and we want to empower you with the knowledge to take action.

Ticket price as follows:
$20 + 1 FREE GUEST

P.S. the FIRST 30 early birds will be entitled a FREE ENTRY. Simply purchase a ticket and get your refund on the day itself (Strictly for the first 30 early birds).

TALKS

Session #1: Early Intervention is Key to Childhood Development Disorders

Due to higher awareness and correspondingly, willingness for integration & inclusion in our society of kids with early childhood developmental disorders, incidence of such childhood disorders has been on the rise.

Developmental disabilities include a spectrum of conditions that result from intellectual, social and emotional and/or physical impairments.

There is a wide spectrum of developmental disorders. The most common includes Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Selective Mutism.

Developmental disorders arise when a child does not display normal milestone skills typically observed in children of the same age. Early intervention facilitates a child gaining such skills to reduce or prevent the long-term effects of developmental delays, including further disabilities. With early intervention, families are better supported so as help their children achieve their functional potential more effectively.
