Playing the music of Special Fun and Solcircle

Special Fun was the quintessential Santa Cruz worldbeat party band in the 1980’s. Gary Regina, Daniel Lewis, Gary Kehoe, Bob Von Elgg, Michael Horne, Arthur Hull, and Renato Annicchiarico performed up and down the California coast, released four recordings and built a dedicated following over a 5 year run, performing with Spyro Gyra, Billy Ocean, Zulu Spear, Big City, Steel Pulse and many more. Some of the members reformed in 2002 as “SOLCIRCLE” playing with String Cheese Incident and releasing “Solcircle” and “Live at Monterey Jazz Festival”
