Day 1 - Sunday, May 14

11:45am-1:15pm (90 mins) Beginner level - Techniques & Choreography "Bulerias"

1:20-2:20pm (60 mins) All levels - Manton Choreography "Alegrias"

2:30-4:00pm (90 mins) Intermediate~Advanced levels - Choreography "Caña"

Day 2 - Monday, May 15

6:00-7:30pm (90 mins) Beginner level Techniques & Choreography "Bulerias"

7:35-8:35pm (60 mins) All levels - Manton Choreography "Alegrias"

8:40-10:10pm (90 mins) Intermediate~Advanced levels - Choreography "Caña"

[Important Notes]

  1. No refund/No credit/No tranfer/No make-up unless the workshop is canceled.
  2. Eventbrite payment only - NO VENMO,PAYPAL, CASH Payment
  3. No filming during the workshops including filming just yourself.
  4. No changing classes/levels/days after you registered.
  5. The door opens 10 mins prior to the starting time to avoid loudness and crowdedness. If you arrive early, please wait in your car or on the stairways, or somewhere else.
  6. Please arrive "READY to DANCE" attire. Our dressing room space is limited.
  7. Street Parking only. Please expect traffic coming to San Francisco.
  8. Please leave the studio in timely manner after you finish.
  9. No guest allowed. Unfortunatley, your families/friends cannot watch the workshops. They must wait outside.
  10. If you do not feel well, please consider to stay home.

  1. For Manton workshop, you must bring your own Manton. No extra at the studio.
  2. Please know how to use Manton.

[Fees & Discount]

General $37/class for 60 mins, $55/class for 90 mins (registration by 11:59pm Thursday, May 11)

AFTER Thursday, May 11 & at the door (May 12,13,14,15) $50/class (60 mins), $70/class (90 mins)

SAME LEVEL for 2 days >> Early Bird Discount $70 for 60 mins class (All level Manton), $105 for 90 mins class (Bulerias/Caña)

  • Early Bird Discount ends at 11:59pm on April 8th.

[Adrian Santana]

Born in Málaga, Spain, Adrián Santana began his dance training with his uncle, Pepito Vargas, and continued to study at the Conservatory of Dance in Málaga where he trained in Flamenco, Danza Española, and regional folk dancing. He was awarded first prize in choreography at the “Málaga Crea” and the recipient of the 2nd place prize at the XIX Certamen de Coreografía de Danza Española y Flamenco in Madrid with his piece, “Siempre me pasa lo mismo”. Adrián Santana has performed in company pieces by choreographers including, Aída Gómez, Concha Jareño, Manuel Liñán, Daniel Doña, Margaret Jova, Carlos Chamorro, Rocío Molina, and was featured in Carlos Saura’s Flamenco Hoy directed and choreographed by Rafael Estévez and Nani Paños. Known for his flawless technique in performance, Adrián is also admired for his ability to create magic with his use of manton and castanets.

About the organizer

Founded in 1966, Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco is one of the longest, continually running flamenco performance groups outside of Spain. Theatre Flamenco of San Francisco exists to support the cultural enrichment of the San Francisco Bay Area through the presentation and promotion of flamenco, an art form that sprang from an international and rich mix of cultural and ethnic influences that converged in southern Spain.
