Presented by Rebecca Diddams and Marjan Kermani, from the Lanterman Educational Law Clinic, this presentation for parents who have school-age children and young adults; will cover the following topics:

  • What’s special education and how to maximize the IEP of your children?
  • How to request advocacy support and when to sign the IEP.
  • Strategies to include your children at school and in the community.
  • Special section for parents whose children are 18 years old focusing on transition to adulthood and what programs are available once they graduate from high school.
