This conference is open to the public and will provide healthcare providers, educators, law enforcement, clergy, veteran service providers, first responders, and community members an opportunity to learn more about Zero Suicide and Trauma Informed Care. Learning Objectives:
After the training, participants will be able to:
• Define “trauma” and recognize its impacts.
• Discuss what is meant by “trauma-informed suicide prevention.”
• Identify the six key principles of trauma-informed approaches.
• Identify strategies for applying trauma-informed approaches across settings.
