Join us on June 5th for our summer Spearker Series and Networking Event! Drawing from lessons learned from the nation’s leading health care organizations, we will discuss a future likely to see LEAN patient centered and community based care; the broader use of physician extenders; evidence based practice with decision support tools; full transparency of online, personal and organizational data; high reliability systems based on industry consolidation and a physician staffing model; evidence based design; an ever increasing integration of technology and a modified Affordable Care Act.

South Texas Chapter - ACHE

The South Texas Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives is a 501(c)6 not for profit corporation headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. The Chapter is an officially-designated, fully-chartered, independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Our geographic service area includes approximately 50,000 square miles in the following South Texas counties:

Aransas, Atascosa, Bandera, Bee, Bexar, Brooks, Calhoun, Cameron, Comal, DeWitt, Dimmit, Duval, Edwards, Frio, Goliad, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells, Karnes, Kendall, Kenedy, Kerr, Kinney, Kleberg, La Salle, Live Oak, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Nueces, Real, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, Uvalde, Val Verde, Victoria, Webb, Willacy, Wilson, Zapata and Zavala.

STC-ACHE has two Local Program Councils (LPCs) to better serve members in the Coastal Bend and Rio Grande Valley areas. We provide a minimum of eight seminars and approximately 16-18 Category II continuing education hours annually.

Our members actively support several Health Administration programs in the area, including: Army-Baylor University Graduate Program in Health Administration, Texas State University-San Marcos Department of Health Administration and Trinity University Health Care Administration Department, Our Lady of the Lake University, and UTSA.
